If you are interested in sitting for the CAP/CAP-OM exam in November 2011, now is the time to begin studying.
The deadline to send in your registration for the exam is August 15, 2011.

For November 2011, the new exams (first take) will be administered on Saturday, November 5.
The selected retake candidates will test on Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5.

Recertification

All CPS holders approved to take the exam since January 1, 1988, are required to recertify every five years in order to keep their rating active; all CAP holders are required to recertify every five years in order to keep their rating active.

The Recertification Brochure also has a new look and is available at www.iaap-hq.org/Cert/recertification.pdf. There is also a recertification spreadsheet available to assist in tracking points as they are earned; the spreadsheet is available at www.iaap-hq.org/Cert/Recertification_Spreadsheet.xls.
